The city of Heraklion is located on the north coast of the island of Crete, in Greece. It is the largest city on the island, and the capital of the Crete region. Cluj-Napoca is a city in northwestern Romania and the capital of Cluj County. It is located in the historical region of Transylvania. Cluj-Napoca was also the birthplace of the Hungarian revolutionary leader Lajos Kossuth. In 1848, it was the site of the first Hungarian government. After World War II, Cluj-Napoca became the capital of the Romanian province of Transylvania.
